Lab: Continue working on your final site. By today all of the major art should be complete and scanned in, or created in Illustrator. You should be finalizing your Flash movie, setting up your Dreamweaver pages, and dreaming up a navigation system.

22: Thursday, July 24

Lab: Continue working on your final site. By today you should be working on the final visual cohesion of your site. Does your navigation system make sense? Are your background, text and link colors clearly assigned? How does your site look on a PC? Do the blues get lost in the black? Does your local root folder have only the essential, uploadable files in it? Do you have the minimum amount of copies of stuff in your resources folder? (Meaning you could easily find and modify anything on your site.)

Homework:

1. Make a digital copy of your print assignments in their native format (illustrator.ai, photoshop.ps, quark) including all layers, and put them on a CD for me. Turn it in at your earliest convenience.

2. Look ahead to next week. Will you be able to make the deadline? If not, work like a fiend in the labs this weekend. E-mail me with questions. I will check my email often so that you may get timely answers. No late work will be accepted, however, thoughtfully executed work, however simple, will be rewarded if turned in on time.
