• WEBSPACE
• Free: Your username and password are the same as your e-mail.
• BACKUP, STORAGE, TRANSPORT MEDIA
• 100mg PC zip discs (two, at least)
• 100mg MAC zip disc (one)
• a sharpie marker.
• SKETCHBOOK
• 3 ring binder - You will keep all of your notes, designs, and other evidence of the learning process in here. (Organizational possibilities--You can add and subtract things easily, like supply holders and dividers-- pocket inserts or plastic page sleeves.)
• Three hole punch for non-traditional additions to your sketchbook (magazine or internet articles or imagery)
• Notebook paper, tracing paper and graph paper
• Biology paper - 3 hole punched 8.5"x11" heavy sketchbook paper-make your own or buy it at Reavers
• A variety of sketching media (watercolor pencils and crayons, an assortment of grayscale markers, miscellaneous dusty media)
• BOOKMAKING TOOLS
• 720 dpi inkjet paper, or "photo quality" paper (not photo paper.) This is for inkjet printing in color
• Matt knife
• Rubber cement
• Exacto knife and blades
• Small, self healing mat to cut on
• 24" metal ruler with cork on underside
• materials to bind your book (wait until you decide on your idea to buy these)
