biology paper, 2 packs (Reaver's definately has it)
black and gray sheets of Canson paper (you can fold this up, you'll
be cutting pieces off of it)
newsprint pad (8.5x11" or 9x12" trimmed to fit)
watercolor paper 9"x12" (trim to fit)
Media
waterbased ink (black)
asst. drawing pencils (6b, 3b, hb, 3h 6h)
at least 5 assorted pens (thick, thin; felt tips, calligraphic, etc.)
Guache -- red,yellow, blue, black and white
Brushes
bamboo brush (larger one)
1/4" flat, white bristled brush
1/2" flat, white bristled brush
1" Richeson (large flat), white bristled brush
#1 Richeson (tiny round), white bristled brush

exacto knife with cover / extra blades
18" metal ruler w/cork understrip
cutting surface (cardboard is free)

color wheel and gray scale with value finder notches
hole punch (3 hole punch is ideal)

something to carry it all in (a canvas bag would be sufficient)

Important Note:
These are the basic supplies needed (~$125.00.) Set aside at least
$50.00 for miscellaneous items
Computer User?
Some assignments can be done on a computer. You are responsible for
having the supplies listed above, plus these three:
Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop or equivalent programs. No CAD
drawing programs. I recommend a Pen Tool if you have $100 in your
budget.
Inexpensive paper for test prints
720 dpi paper (not photo paper--just coated paper) for final projects

Directions to Reaver's Art Supply:
From Call St. (the one way right in front of the art building) take a
right at "Old Bainbridge/M.L.K. Ave. /Macomb St./R.R. Ave./Wahnish Way."
Go down the hill, past Potbellies Bar, past the Civic center (both on
left.)
Cross over Pensacola St., then Gaines St., then R.R. tracks.
Look for Recycled Cycles and Harmon Glass on your right, and Capital
Cash-n-Carry on your left.
Just after Harmon Glass is the entrance to RR Square on your right.
Drive "straight" to the back and you'll see Reaver's.
